Charlton Memorial Hospital: Emergency Room

The emergency room staff is rude, talks personal business while I was trying to get their attention. The reason I went is because I fell off my bed and hit my head , hand and hurt my legs which already have problems. Had to call ambulance cause I couldn’t walk down two flight of stairs. Two young girls helped me and were nice. They took my info and sent to hosp. It was busy but when an employee finally came to see me she never introduced who she was. Her first question was do you want to go to a home. I said NO! Then she mentioned my stairs. I assumed she knew why I was there. So when she said then why are you here I got upset and said ” can you fix my legs?” then she walked away without asking what else what was hurtingThey knew about my leg problems but what about the other problems.. no xrays or nothing.. every time I asked question they told me to talk to my nurse but never told me who was my nurse and walked away. After being there for 5 hours I was kinda out of it. I also have bad memory. Finally to my surprise a nice dr came over and said there is nothing we can do here tonight for you and referred me to my ortho. So now I sit home with a bad headache (possible concussion, egg on my forehead and badly bruised thumb area that was badly bruised and swollen. What ever happened to old fashion drs. That actually check out your body after you fall?
